Flatten Your Tummy By Burning More Calories In Less Time

One key tip for flattening a tummy is to discover how to burn off excess fat as quickly as possible and this is one area where there are a few surprises in store for most people.

You see, if most people think about burning calories and getting slimmer, they think about going for long walks or going for a jog every once in a while. If this is you, then think again. Because research over the last few years has shown that there are actually far more accurate and rapid ways to flatten tummy bumps.

Here’s the problem. When you jog, for example, your body only burns calories while you are exercising, and possibly for 30-60 minutes afterwards. So a 30 minute run may result in up to an hour of fat burning.

However there *is* a technique which will spike your metabolic rate so much (though safely) that your body can continue to burn excess calories for up to 20 hours afterwards – which means you can virtually burn fat right around the clock – even while sleeping – if you follow this exciting new exercise plan known as “interval training”.

Interval training takes the concept of going for a run and turns it on it’s head. Rather than plodding away for long periods of time you instead cycle through a much shorter exercise period where you spend part of the time running at full speed and the rest at a slow jog.

And while this sounds easy, I assure you it can be pretty tough – if you’re doing it right! However the benefits are clear – less time spent exercising and a flattened tummy much quicker indeed.

Flatten Tummy Tips – Before You Even Get Started

Deciding to lose weight and get a flat tummy is only half the battle. The other half is actually getting yourself excited and motivated enough to actually take your idea and turn it into physical action. As Morphious says on The Matrix – there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.

So while many of us would like to eat right and spend our evenings doing flatten tummy exercises it is vital that before embarking on such a journey you get yourself all excited, energetic and motivated so ensuire you see the process through to the end.

Fortunately there are all sorts of ways to get motivated before a flatten tummy diet but here I want to mentione a few of my personal favourites:

Discussion Forums – Meet other people who are also trying to flatten their tummy and make friends. Having a dedicated support group like this with whom you can discuss any problems or questions is worth it’s weight in gold.

Before And After Pictures – Find websites which show photographs of other people who have successfully lost weight so you can really see what other people have achieved. This makes it far easier to believe that you can do something similar.

Set A Goal – There are a range of ways you can do this. For example some people decide that they want to be a certain weight by a certain date. Some people place bets with friends and family that they can do it. Some people book a beach vacation for that date. Other people book a photoshoot for that day. And so on. What goal can you set yourself to keep motivated?

These are of course only a tiny handful of the possible ways you can keep yourself motivated and if you take some time to think you can probably come up with plenty of other ideas.

There are no right or wrong answers. Just what you think will and won’t work for you. So take the time to come up with a lost of ways to get (and keep!) yourself motivated, then get cracking! The sooner you draw up your list the sooner you can start to flatten your tummy.
